In a front or rear collision this design will fold like a taco on the ocupants. The forward and rear most structures that should crumple in an impact mave more mass and less flex points than the passenger area. There is also no horizontal or diagonal support and it would allow massive torsional flex when trying to turn. It would be dificult to work on.
